Road Trip - Colombo to Talawakelle, Nawalapitiya, Dolosbage, Dedugala, Bulathkohupitiya and back to Colombo
Started our journey from Colombo at around 8.30AM and reached " The Waterfall Villas " in Talawakelle at around 1PM where we were planning to spend the night at. Forgot to bring some cash with me and the nearest ATM was in Talawakelle. " The Waterfall villas " is situated in Talawakelle area surrounded with beautiful mountains and facing St Clair’s Waterfall. We booked the place FB basis, so we started with lunch. They offered set menu with multiple choices for all lunch, dinner and breakfast. The View was amazing and mind-blowing!! In the evening we went to see the Upper Kotmale Dam which was about 4 KM off Talawakelle. we were not allowed to go near the dam as it was required to take prior permission from the CEB. On our way back to " The Waterfall villas " we stopped at St. Clair Viewing Gallery to have a good look at the St. Clair Waterfall.
